I discovered I'm allergic to kiwis by making a kiwi soft serve that was suppose to be made out of bananas....Opps. I'm totally going to try it again with bananas and another batch with nectarines but I need them to ripen first. Stay tuned for the results!

I didn't eat sushi for dinner but I did make clean protein lemon bars and iced choffy protein drink. They were both delicious. The lemon bars were a little protein-y (when you use a lot of protein powder in a recipe it will make it a little dry) but I made a delicious frosting out of nonfat plain greek yogurt, a little bit of honey, and a couple drops of lemon juice. Once that was on top it was mega good. The iced choffy protein drink was to die for. LOVE that drink. I think I will be having it every morning for the rest of the summer.
Besides discovering the brilliant ideas of making strained nonfat greek yogurt into a cream cheese substitute and defatted flour all by myself, I've found you can make a delicious low calorie flour out of dry garbanzo beans. 1 cup dry garbanzo beans = 1 1/2 cup garbanzo bean flour at a little less than 300 calories per cup that makes it one of the lowest flour calories ever. (See Socca recipe to make delicious protein/fiber rich flatbread) I would advice mixing half of what you need with half oat flour. Oat flour is the next lowest in calories that I've been able to find. (Just blend oats in the blender to make it) Garbanzo bean flour by itself is a little gritty and dense, using half oat flour to mix into whatever you are making will help it turn out more like it should and it will still be low calorie and delicious. Oat flour is about 370 calories per cup so the mixture averages out to about 335 per cup. That vs. the normal calorie amount of white bleached flour (455 calories per cup).....ya "normal" flour is awful calorie wise and nutrient wise too. It has almost NO nutritional value. Garbanzo bean flour has tons of protein and tons of fiber and oat flour is also pretty good in both of those things too.
